01 • VERIFICATION GUIDE

Verify Auction Sheet records by chassis number

Start with the number on the vehicle or its documents.

Use the search above to look for available Japanese auction records. Compare the returned details with your vehicle documents before treating a result as relevant. A record describes information from an earlier point in time; it does not establish the car’s current condition.

Check every letter, digit and hyphen. A returned result is not a confirmed match for your car; compare the number and vehicle identity.

02 • RECORD SEARCH

Search, select and compare the available results

A search can return several records or none. Use the record selector to review each result. Read any mismatch warning, especially when the chassis number was recognised by software. Search speed and record availability can vary; a full sheet is not included in this Beta preview.

Software recognition can make mistakes. Check multiple results individually. No result is not evidence of an accident-free history.

03 • RECORD AVAILABILITY

Understand what a Japanese auction record can show

The current search may return a vehicle name, year or registration field, colour, variant and auction result. Fields can be missing. A sample sheet shown beside these cards is for explanation only; it is not linked to your search or proof that a particular auction house has a record for your vehicle.

This example image is not your report. Your actual results appear in the search results above. Full auction sheets or a confirmed mileage report are not currently provided.

04 • BETA SERVICE

Read the preview with its limitations in mind

Verify Auction Sheet is currently a record-search preview. Full sheet delivery, PDF downloads, online payments and certified translations are not available through this page. If a record or marking is unclear, ask for clarification. Arrange a current vehicle inspection before making a purchase decision.

Ask for clarification instead of guessing at unfamiliar comments or markings. A vehicle can change after auction. Arrange a current physical inspection before buying.

Before you search

Verify Auction Sheet records in 4 simple steps

Enter the correct number, compare the returned details and understand the limits of the record.

1. Prepare the correct chassis number

To Verify Auction Sheet records, begin with the chassis number shown on the vehicle identification plate or its documents. Check each letter and digit before entering it. Preserve the hyphen when one is present. A Japanese chassis number is not always a 17-character VIN; this search accepts supported hyphenated numbers as well as 17-character alphanumeric VINs.

Compare the number with the identification plate or vehicle documents. Do not enter only a model name or registration number. Check the letters, digits and hyphen. If handwriting is unclear, confirm it against legible documents or the vehicle plate.

3. Compare results when you Verify Auction Sheet records

Review the vehicle name, year or registration field, colour and model variant where those values are available. Read the matching note for each record. Some chassis numbers may have been read by software or entered manually, and recognition can introduce mistakes. An available chassis-number crop is only a small part of a document, not a full auction sheet.

Compare your searched number with each returned record. A mismatch warning means you must not treat it as a confirmed record for your car. Do not guess at missing fields. Check relevant documents before treating Year / Registration as a confirmed manufacturing year.

4. Understand what is available in Beta

This page currently provides a search preview of available records. Full auction sheets, PDF downloads and online payment are not offered through this preview. The displayed sample document explains what an auction sheet can look like; it is not your search result. This preview does not provide a complete accident history, a condition score or a guaranteed current odometer reading.

This Beta version displays brief information. An auction record describes a past moment and does not guarantee current condition. Consider vehicle documents, seller information and a qualified physical inspection together. Results labelled TEST are examples, not evidence about a real vehicle.
